I have a trip set up in August, fishing Sat the 9th through Tuesday the 12th, fishing for giants. This will be my fourth year up there for this fantastic experience.
I'm looking for someone to join me.
If anyone is interested and wants more details, send me a PM or email me at andydroid@comcast.net .
I don't need to elaborate on this fishery to anyone who's been paying attention and is into tuna fishing, but suffice it to say that it's something that has to be experienced to truly appreciate.
I have fished a total of 21 days there in the past three years, and these has only been ONE day when we did not catch one or more giants. Most days we get a couple, and the overall experience is always absolutely enjoyable.
I've included some links of some pics and vids, of which there are many more that I haven't posted yet.

Lots of views but no replies. Does anybody on this site actually want to fight giant Bluefin, or just want to talk about it?

I think you'd have better luck if you post a ballpark figure for the trip. Or you could wait for people to PM/email you, but that doesn't seem to be working.

I've actually tried that before, but the results don't seem any different. But it's worth a try, so including the boat, lodging, travel, and food, it should run about $6500 total for four days of fishing.
This is split depending on the total number of guys; and I usually like to keep it to myself and one other person. So obviously for two guys it will cost approx. $3200 or so each.

Would have been all over it with a little more time to schedule. Best of luck

I have had to cancel both of my trips up there this year:(, so my days for my Sept trip are now open. They are Sept 12 through 16, and if anyone is interested in taking some or all of these days, let me know and I'll give you the contact info to set it up.

Spent sever years back in the seventies chasing gts in NS then it was good in that region!
Always had great times. & caught many true gts over. 500#'s , could walk on their backs during the slack they were so thick !
Hand feeding at night was totally awesome expierance & I believe we were the very first to catch gts @ night !
Unfortunately all those now seem to be moved to PEI waters !
