Darren took out friends Joe, Nick, Nicholas and Zack for sharking.
Not many shark reports up this way...they left at 4:00 am and headed offshore set up and fought and released 7 blue sharks in great conditions and some fog.
Around 3:40 pm they had a Mako hook up which then ran to the bow, jumped and spit the hook.
The Mako comes back and takes the bait and this time they get a good hook up...the Mako went crazy. 5 huge jumps...down, around (almost in my engines)...
They finally got a fly gaff in it...perfect eating size and our first one for the 2014 shark season!!
Nice job guys!
Back at it asap....
