BLUEFISHING bounced back today. Capt Jim Elliott had the GOLDEN EAGLE out today and he found the fish out to the east about 16 miles and reported that the fishing was good. He said they would pick at the fish and then get shots of 15 or more fish at a time and then pick at them. By the end of the day everyone had plenty of fish.
The fish ranged in size from 7 to 14 lbs and the action was on Run Off Hammer jigs, Croc's and bait.
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ. NIGHT BLUEFISHING Friday & Saturday nites at 7:30pm. (We have a private fund raising charter tomorrow (Thurs) and will not be open to the public)
