Paul had the Abe Coban charter on board today. We got an early start and found the Bunker off Belmar. One throw of the net by Capt. Darren and we were on our way. (Thanks Capt.), Paul found a good stretch of bait and Bass reads between Asbury and Long Branch so we worked the area all day. It was a frustrating day for us as we had big Bass around the boat most of the day. They crashed our baits, picked up baits and ran but we never got a hook up. Finally we got our first and only Bass. We stopped on a large active school of bunker on the way in did some snag & drop fishing but never got a touch. We will see what Monday brings, maybe it will be our day.:(:(
