Had some time to kill before ebb tide in Neversink so hit the nets, flats, front of pier, flynns, and AH but zip except sea robins.

Went up the river to fish the ebb and caught 6 but all just short. Also picked up small blues. The pink whirlybird with spearing was the ticket again.

Can't believe it was that slow. Went on party boat Sat. not a lot but some action. Fished outside hook. I thought warmer water inside would be better. Usually fish North Navesink, SH bridge up to hook. Is that the area you fished? Expected much better but may still be to early with temps.
