It was a much nicer day today and fishing was better. We had a good drift and found some fluke in a new area. The fish are moving in. Russ was fishing the bow jigging and I saw him hook a nice fluke, it was a 28 1/2 inch beauty that weighed 9 pounds. He was fishing right next to Jim who had the big pool lead with a 9# 9 oz fluke on Tuesday that measured 28 inch even. Jim's was much fatter. At the sme time Pat had a big fish in the stern. We have had 3 fish nine pounds or greater this week. These were big fish but captain Eddie on the Horse caught a huge one today. We will let him tell you about it later.
The weather looks good this week with much warmer temps. and winds from the west. I think this should help fluking a lot. Some after noon showers for Tuesday but it should not hurt the fishing.
Galley open every day. 7:30 sailing on Monday.
Thanks Captain George
