Once again a nice day on the water with some OK fluke fishing. It was good fishing once again being the first boat out. It slowed right down when the late comers got out but we did OK again when we were left alone. Bottom line, when the fishing is picky boat traffic hurts. Carl Nabas from Pompton Plains took the pool with a 5 pound fluke. Another regular Walter Cohen is pictured with his limit. He has been on fire this year.
The cold weather and water temps along with the east winds has been killing the ocean fishing and I do not expect any improvement out there till we get some west winds and warmer temps. We saw big fish out there Tuesday and we hope they head around into our bay.
Sailing at 7:00 AM tomorrow, Thanks captain George00
