We had perfect weather and it brought down a lot more people then I figured. We did manage 25 keepers today with some catching 1. 2. or 3 keepers but many only had shorts. There have been a lot of boats for the first 4 days of the season but that should change tomorrow and we will see if we don't end up with more fish. I really do not like 3 day weekends.
It was a fun day with many regulars making their first fluke trip of 2014 with some nice fluke caught. Jose took the first keeper pool with a good fish. Mike Ayres lead the pool till the end of the day when Tom Holland from Paramus inched him out with our last fish of the day. Twice in four days the pool fish was our last fish, Never give up as I am always looking to find fish for our customers. It was only the sharpies that scored but some youngsters also had keepers.
Sailing at 7:00 AM tomorrow. FIRST BOAT OUT. THANKS CAPTAIN GEORGE
