Just getting ready to kick off the long weekend here.... Thinking about parties, friends, fishing on the eve of the weekend that officially kicks off the summer fun ahead.

Just wanted to pause here to thank all our past, present and future Veterans for serving.. It's their personal sacrafices that built the foundation for all the freedoms we have.

Thank you, Gerry, and everyone else who replied to his post. I loved being on a destroyer and travelling half the world. I steered my ship through the Suez Canal and back. Where would anyone get an opportunity do that? My Navy uniformed helped me score with all the girls, too. LOL.
