I'm going to drop my kayak in between highlands and the hook and try for some fluke in the shallows. I will bring my anchor and some chunk bait and trolling lures as a back up plan. Will troll to the shoals but focus on the flat ones for most of the day.
Regards,
Pete
Both.
Target stripers early am or later in the afternoon when there is less boat traffic. Catch your limit and then go fluking.

Launching out of Keyport early Sunday morning. West winds + outgoing water = fluke drifting dream :D
Will target the Stripers too but my crew is jonesing for the flatties - new equipment, tubs full o' Gulp!, unblemished Bucktails, mega quantities of leaders/droppers tied during this winter's snowstorms, sharpened Gami's - ahhhh :)
Bring it on !!
