Striped Bass report May 12th- Johnny Bucktails

Today i fished with the lip right after school for a few hours. Hit some spots early with no luck but i took a little ride and found what i was looking for. Netted fresh bait and i tossed out a livie. Hit the water and in 3 seconds i had a screamer. Fought her on some really light tackle for a while and she eneded up pushing the scale to 30 pounds even. While i was fighting that fish the lip tossed out his bunker and got smashed immediately. Another nice fish that was around 24 pounds. Lip got his fish in before mine and netting his fish while i had mine on was fun ahaha. Lost a few bass at the boat and were soon invaded with yellow eyed demons. Called it a day and headed back to the barn early. Had an awesome few hours with Dad and couldn't have asked for nicer weather.
