We started out with a good steady pick on the ling around the boat with some sea bass and tog mixed in. The best fishing was towards the bow which is often the case at Scotland. The reason for this is that a lot of the wrecks are small and with the water warming and blues around the ling hang tight to the wreck. When I anchor and read the wreck the transducer is right below me and so is the bottom. Archie, Mike and Jim had over 50 ling and I would estimate we had 250 to 300 ling on board. Although some in the back only caught a few Jeff Criswell From Flanders and his son Jeff caught their share and won the pool on our last drop. It looks like a nice day Monday and then who Knows for the rest of the week. I would pick tomorrow over the rest of the week.

George moved multiple times, fish never turned on

I had 5 ling, a nice tog I tossed back

Wife and daughter same number of ling, wife had a whiting, daughter nice knucklehead sea bass


Thanks to guy who tossed us 3 ling at end to add to our bucket

OE, dauntless, Jamacia, paramount all sailed to same area so save time and jump on angler

Mates were great, galley food top notch, no complaints

I had only 6 but it was nice catching something after this winter. With all the party boats and an aray of smaller boats hitting that same tiny area it was amazing we did that well. Howard see my post under bait and tackle talk.
