Telling it like it is, and owning it when trips are "stinkers" goes a long way to show character.
You just won a lot of respect out of me, a future customer, and I bet quite a few others that just read and lurk.
When you have to leave at 2:30 am for a 2 1/2 hour drive (each way), to get to a boat by 5am that sails at 7:30 for that spot you like on the rail.
Straight up reports, and seeing a Capt own it when it's less that pretty, makes all that worth it.
