5-3-14 Finally back out today in very nice conditions,,water has warmed up nicely a well..It hit 52 degrees today along the beach...and offshore.We did not find any striper life as we looked north of the inlet this morning.,,so we did the next best thing..we went bottom fishing instead of driving all over the place..If something happened with the stripers we could do it but it never happened,,,We had good life on the bottom with plenty of bites..Caught a handful of nice ling,,,couple of nice keeper codfish,throwback togs,,,some throwback cods,,lots of eels...bergalls etc..So the day was at least a little productive..Gonna do it again tomorrow..the weather looks great!!See ya for coffee..pics.
