PROWLER5 - Fri., April 25th, Bass Beatdown

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. What a great day to be a striped bass Captain. Got lucky and found a nice stack of readings this morning. Anchored on them and started beating on them pretty good. Action has slowed down a little bit right now at 11:40 - but still picking. We're up to 30 keepers and 20 something shorts released. Not too bad. A huge improvement. We are shaping up every day 7:30 - 2:30 plus Fri., Sat. and Sun. afternoons 3:30 - 9:00 trips. Come on down. Love to have you. P.S. I know that there is one 3/4 day boat that is chartered tomorrow in the daytime and there's another 3/4 day boat that's not there yet. That being said, I expect there to be some bass people around the Harbor tomorrow. So, Rob, Brian, Donnie and myself will see you at 5:30 in the a.m. It's all about the service. P.S. Hey guys here are todays pictures. Our pool winner was Catherine Hipko from Milltown,NJ with a real nice 22lb. Striper. That a boy lady!:)

They announced pool was $90 (18 entries). It wasn't crowded by any means..maybe 20-25 (guessing) The pool winner and some hot hands came from the port mid to aft deck.
