the canal was a bust

Went all over the canal today and absolutely nothing.. only saw one guy with a keeper blackfish and that was it.. could not even buy a bite.. sandworms and even threw some plastics to tempt a rat striper and nothing.. did see a seal of all things in the canal which is a first for me in that area.. hope he had better luck.. going to try again next weekend after some warmer weather..
