Fished the Keyport Flats for winter flounder. 35 flounder three anglers. Couple 18'' stripers on the flounder rigs. Fished one tide-outgoing.
This is the norm not the exception! Wish we had the flounder and a reasonable bag limit. The best is yet to come and on a normal schedule. Before you know it we will cursing at the blues that invade the bay lol:eek:

Yup!! Guy that works with me just put into Leonardo and said he saw big bait of an undetermined species: said it really looked like bunker , but.... He hasn't seen Ally on 1st ave for a while ... But he definitely had large bait against the rocks on the way in...jumping into the rocks...

Last year April 16th nasty cloudy day...gannets were bombing in the bay and I trolled 3 bass up to 20-25 pounds (spawning female released). Caught those fish in afternoon In less than 2 hrs on a shake down trip. Going to break open after this blow
