I took advantage of the beautiful day to hit the mud with my #1 fishing buddy; my daughter Maddie.

We stopped short of our limit but had enough for what we needed..

We picked around a bit and then found the honey hole.

We left 'em biting. Nice nice mix of sizes.

Steamed the little ones last night. Mediums with Linguini tonight. The big ones are getting a one way trip to NH on Thursday as Cod and haddock bait.

That looks like fun! Way to keep the kids involved, too. My godfather taught me to clam the back bays of Montauk with my hands and a bucket with a float around it. Awesome times! The chowder/linguine always tastes better when you get muddy to make it!
