Mostly likely a function of the amazing 2013 season that saw 107 big-eyes and 2000+ yellowfin - our best canyon season EVER - but both our 60 Ritchie Howell and 48 Viking are almost completely filled up for the 2014 canyon season.
As such, before I start getting yelled at by our customers I'm shooting this out as a warning - for example on the 60 Ritchie we only have 6 dates in June, 5 dates in July and 5 days in August. The 48 Viking is not far behind in being filled up on all it's full boat dates and OPEN BOAT dates so please email me today if you are considering coming -adam@canyonrunner.com
Now - more importantly - we are once again doing a FREE overnighter for our Military Personnel. The date this year is July 3-4 on the 48 Viking out of Pt. Pleasant. It's a 24 hour overnighter and completely free to any Milatary folks active or retired (preference will go to any wounded VETs).
I will also provide catering from Joe Leone's in Pt. Pleasant and all the refreshments.
Take a look at an article written about last year's trip - http://www.177fw.ang.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123357781
If you know anyone that qualifies please email me at adam@canyonrunner.com -- it will be first come, first serve except if I get 6 wounded VETs they get the spots.
This is our 6th or 7th year doing this and we love it! FYI - we'll be doing a Veteran's Day FREE striper trip too.
