Checked Bednar today. 2 people fishing and no fish or bites.

Last 2 years I caught couple flounder
While the angler next to me grabbed a keeper bass

There is a small pier on the south side of canal (North Barneget Bay/Canal entrance) at Canal Point Marina in Point Pleasant that I used to do well there many years ago as a kid.

winter flounder does not open till the 23rd.the proposed march 1 opening does not take affect till net march if approved by newjersey, but when it opens go to bulkhead in belmar,loads of flounder

I was curious as well, what kind of rig would be used. I'm going to try some of the spots mentioned above next weekend. I was thinking about just using a 3-way swivel, not sure on leader length, material, test.... or hook size? Any tips are appreciated... Thanks

Just get some flounder rigs - two snelled hooks under the sinker because you want the bait laying on the bottom.
