Going down to PR (Aguadilla) this summer and I want to do some fishing while down there. Would like to bottom fish, so does anyone have recommends. Please email me the info if you do reply. Also, is there any party boats as well.

Thanks

You're going to need a coffee can and line, and you should be straight! :)

Funny, you brought this up. Being Puerto Rican, my father never used a rod and reel. Out fished most of the people who did used a rod and reel. :D

I don't think there is any party boats in Puerto Rico period. They have plenty of charters. You could probably fish off the beach. A must go is crash boat beach. Amazing beach.

Hello guys
I'm leaving to Puerto Rico on Wednesday the 13
I have a beach house in aquada ,that's like 5 mins from aquadilla.
I do some surf fishing with a surf rod and reel lol, I bottom fish using squid whole. Fish heads, cut fish.
In October when I was last there I caught big mutton snappers, some nice Yellowtails some grunts, few congers and some some stuff I used for bait. I had a fish straighten out a hook on me so make sure you bring some good tackle. I'm not familiar with the bt there.
Early mornings and dusk is the best times.
If you go on Facebook look for Puerto Rico surf fishing, you'll see my pics .
Have fun
