In 2 Weeks

2 weeks from today I'll be plying the flats and mangroves of Belize for bonefish, permit, tarpon and snook before heading out to the reef for snappers/groupers.

Yes with Jason, actually whole family (although the girls are either going shopping or to the beach). Going on a 7 day cruise with an all day stop in Belize. After doing some research I found a charter/guide service that meets it's clients next to the cruise terminal. We'll be getting a 7-8 hour trip and since fishing starts 10-15 minutes from the dock, we should get in a full day. I was actually able to speak with some of his past clients before I sent in a deposit and received every good feedback.

Was also going to book a sailfishing trip in Cozumel but after finding out that a high school acquaintance of mine owns a bar on the beach just north of Cozumel, I opted for margaritas :D. Also making stops is Mahogany Bay & Costa Maya but will be doing family things.

We're thinking of spending a few extra in Florida before we head back to NJ, so maybe I'll do some more fishing there.

Sounds like a great trip. Quality time with the family, great food and cocktails + you get to fish. Does not get much better than that.
