Meatloaf with Love

3.7 Pounds of meatloaf mix meat (beef / pork / veal) 3 packs
1 Ponnd of Premo sweet sausage without casing
3 XL eggs
1 cup regular bread crumbs
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
2 / 3 cups burgundy wine - can use the red cooking wine
1 pkg Liptons onion soup mix
1 pkg Liptons hearty beef onion soup mix

Mix all thoroughly. Put into loaf pans and cover with two strips of bacon.
Pour 1 - 8oz can of tomato sauce over entire top of meatloaf (don't dround) .
Bake covered at 350 degrees for one hour 15 MINUTES
on the pan size (internal temp should be 155 degrees ). .
Remove cover and broil just to crisp it up ( keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn )

this receipe will make 2 good size meatloafs
I ALWAYS COOK WITH WINE AND SOMETIMES I EVEN ADD IN THE FOOD

I typically don't eat meatloaf ... But for the past couple of weeks have had the hankering for it- can't figure out why:confused:, must be that I see meatloaf with love every time I come to this site, multiple times every day... So I made a stuffed Italian meatloaf with ham and cheese on the inside... Thanks Dano!! Here's my lick at it
