The season will probably open around 5/19. However, the very important ASMFC meeting begins tomorrow, Tuesday, 2/4. Go to their site and listen in on the webinar. The meeting is 3 days long but they will be discussing fluke and seabass on 2/4 from 1:15PM to 4:15 PM. Earlier from 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM they will be discussing striped bass. www.asmfc.org
