Hey guys,
I was curious what the fish were doing under the ice so here it is! Pretty neat seeing spearing in the frozen ponds, they are supposed to be offshore lol
Obviously catching bait this time of year is slow lol

Very cool video. Never realized the little critters stayed local throughout the winter. I thought they headed south but they certainly look healthy enough in your video. Thanks for sharing....always cool seeing what's going on under the water.

Thanks guys. I thought it was neat to see fish under the ice. Its hard enough to see them underwater on a nice day, now add some ice and I am really curious lol

Nice Video but not spearing for sure.Look more like killies. You know those great fluke baits that suddenly became extremely rare and the price skyrocketted last summer!!!!

Was that over by the Rutgers research facility by the Inlet between LBI / Holgate and Brigaintine? It looked familiar. Cool video! Those are some ice cold killies :)

Thanks! The spearing are outside of the trap and the killifish are inside the trap (and some outside as well).
