My neighbor is Cuban and she brought over this dish to one of my parties so I would like to share it with the site.
Garcias shrimp in garlic sauce
2 lbs raw shrimp deveined
2 btls bottles of McCormicks Shrimp Scampi
2 packs Sazon Goya CON AZAFRAN
2 lemon zest and squeeze the juice
if you don't have a fine grader use a
regular cheese grader fine side
1 1/2 cup dry wine like pino
1 tsp red pepper flakes ( your liking )
2 tbl olive oil
2 tbl Franks red hot sauce
salt / pepper to taste
pour Mc Commick scampi sauce along with shrimp and simmer
add all of the above and cook untill shrimp is pink, at the end add
put some seasoned bread crumbs to thicken sauce ( about 1/2 cup )
Danny addition - one bunch of scallons just cut the green tops about
a quarter inch and place in the mix to cook (add to your liking )
8 cloves of garlic minced fine ( I usually like about 12 or more )
can dip sauce with crusty bread / over rice or noodles
simple but out of this world
