Hey, Folks!
My wife and I are finally going on a short vacation to Key West 1/22-1/27! I’ve been searching the internet for an inshore charter/guide IN KEY WEST and no one jumps off the page. Looking for an inshore guy, maybe a short reef trip, whose price wont require a major bank loan! Or, if prices are all the same, whose got the best captain/boat/mate combo?
Is there such a guy?? Whats your experience? Anyone you can recommend?
Thanks for looking. And special thanks for your responses. ;)

Captain Mark Schimdt. Fished with him four times, always a great experience. My advice ,use a full time pro, spend the extra cash, you wont be sorry. There are too many part time discounted guys down there who basically use you to gas up their boats.Good luck.

I am sure there are a lot of other captains that can help you out here as well, but I always have gotten great feedback from Captain Rich Adler a site sponser/member plus I think he just got back from fishing down there himself. Shoot him a pm :)

Call capt mike jersey key charters site sponsor. He works with a charter service down there in the winter. I'm sure he could give you the right guy

Thanks Todd--- my best reccomendation in Key West is Capt. Mike Weinhofer of Compass Rose Charters, used to run an Invincible, terrrific riding center console.

The “High Class Hooker” is docked in Key West at the A&B Marina, 700 Front Street. You can find Capt. Gene on the web at www.keywestclasscharter.com
CAPT. GENE CHRZANOWSKI

Try contacting Capt. Gene. He's a transplanted New Jersey guy from Bayonne. He's a former lawyer now retired. He specializes in blue water fishing but he should steer you toward someone who can make your trip worthwhile.

That's weird, I was just talking about this yesterday. A buddy of mine has fished with Capt. Mike a few times and has excellent things to say out about him.

Take a look......

I fished with captain mike about 5 years ago and would highly recommend him - his boat was unreal and he knew what he was doing
