I know there are boats still fishing, but most of us are done till spring. Cabin fever has officially set in for me. What do you all do to get through the "dark months"? I'm looking for anything here lol

This should actually be your busiest time of year. Look into all the environmental groups in your area and see what they aren’t doing. You could be scouting areas and calling them out from behind their desks.
You could be writing letters to find out as to why the sea bass season is closed. I think there is a fluke meeting coming up. Look into local organizations and see what you can do to help. Visit a local party boat that you go on in the summer and see if there is anything they need a hand with. Great time of year to pen letters, I’m sure you saw something this past year that made you upset. If I’m not fishing I’m shakin' and movin', gotta keep them honest, dig deep, you will be amazed as to what is not getting done, and the people that are getting paid to do nothing.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates 23 billion gallons of raw sewage flow into New Jersey waterways every year because of overflows from outdated sewer systems. You can start with this one :)

It's 5am monday. I'm heading to the Angler. Wednesday or friday 5-5 on the J2. Maybe wednesday and friday. That should do the trick.

I wasn't going to go to the meeting tonight, but now I think I will. I don't really have an original comment to make on the situation. I feel very strongly for Fluke fishing and share the same views as the captains on this site. Is it normal just to show up and be there to support the issue without making any comments?
