Woke up early on New Years to fish with Capt Phil Leo and friends on a non sponsored Cape May charter. Lucky for me, a big one broke a friends leader and as only a true togger would do, I slipped in to throw a half green crab next to where he was fishing as the poor dude was tying a new rig. Ill let the pictures do the talking...

Also woth noting was a 14 pound male taken by Dave's friend, sorry but I forget his name. Two fish of a lifetime yesterday - THANKS TO PHIL L

No it did not! But it may have been the same fish. Dik got crushed!

This fish was not mouthing the bait either, it swallowed the whole enchilada in a single bite causing the hook to go deep on mine. This may have been why it became distressed and would not swim away (after going belly up after returning her to the water) after we took the initial picture. My first mega fish and I really wanted to see its return.

Adam bomb got biggest so far this year 23.3 fishing with phill never quits and knows where the slobs live going again saturday with him four black fish trip with him boat limit all three ttips plus seabass also this saturday hopefuly got my shot at slob
