If this is repetitious please take it down. I just went thru my log book and compared my keeper Fluke/Summer Flounder catch for 2012 & 2013. It is no surprize to me, that I caught much more keepers in 2012. But maybe the results might help change some "scientific" facts?

I think I caught as many keepers on my dock as I did from the boat: bad conditions for the most part when I could find the time to get out... Hopefully it's a lil different next season.

Less keepers in 2013 than in 2012 but the size was better. Overall it was slower than 2012 but we did have sandy and a ton of rain in june. Lots of 3 to 5 pound fish.

I definitely caught more in 2013 because I fished for them more. I also kept a lot more as the drop in NY from 20" to 19" made a major difference in what I took home.

For me 2012 was the best seasons I ever had! There were lots of good sized fish on structures that fished regularly! 2013 I would get a few here and there and burn a lot of fuel trying to find concentration of hungry fish
