I want to take my stepson fishing tomorrow, and I think blackfishing will be too tough for him. (I'm not the greatest myself!);) let alone tying the rigs lol. So I was hoping against hope that maybe someone is still targeting (& hopefully finding) stripers. Anyone....anyone.... Bueller...Bueller? :D

Might want to look at the reports. If they caught fish they would have posted already.

I'm pretty sure it's just a sabiki rig. Or a bunch of tiny gold hooks jigged up and down.

Store bought mack rigs are fine. You can use a sinker or diamond jig for weight.

Mack fishing is not rocket science.Just go on a PB and they have the rigs. The mates will be more than happy to help you out. When the macks are in good you will have a blast! In the fall the best month for stripers is Nov.
