No sail from AH today

Drove to Atlantic Highlands this morning. Wind was howling out of the east, not as forecast. Ended up with only 8 peeps, didn't get out. Four others were there early and left, I guess headed to Belmar. They should have stayed and we would have sailed, or I should have headed south.

Drove to Atlantic Highlands this morning. Wind was howling out of the east, not as forecast. Ended up with only 8 peeps, didn't get out. Four others were there early and left, I guess headed to Belmar. They should have stayed and we would have sailed, or I should have headed south.
Looks like "Winter Fishing and Fishermen" are a thing of the past, pretty sad when only 8 guys show up for several boats that are still sailing.
Miss the Whiting fishery when we would make ice on the way out and come home with sacks of fish (with a gang of customers)!!
