We have filled up our limited offshore sea bass trips --so we've added another date, leaving Saturday morning at 3AM December 28th. Just putting it up now so it is wide open.

What kind of Rod/Reel/line setup would one need for this trip. What kind of depth would I be fishing in. I'm interested, but not sure I have the gear I'd need.

Might be something to plan for next year.

We will be fishing around 200 ft. I fish 30 lb test with a rod that can handle a pound of lead. Any of my Bluefish stuff works.

Chuck, All depends on the direction of the wind. Seas will be determined by the wind direction . As you know the boat is a tank. If Bobby thinks he can do it he will.

Should have kept my hands off the keyboard. My NOAA crystal screen changes three times a day and has been known to totally blow a forecast. Only the Captain will make the call.
