Over the river and thru the bass to the toggin grounds we go!

Any way,we drove thru acres of birds and swirling bass on the way out yesterday.Although we had the spinning rods all set up with sand ell jigs we decided not to stop.I think we made the correct decision.The morning tog bite was real good for us.There is only so much time in the day.Yesterday was a crew trip and it is even harder to split the day with a charter on board.If you are lucky enough to limit out with tog early and you see the birds working on the way home I don't mind stopping.It reminds me of thirty years ago taking my son fluking in the bay.Dad the birds are working and I see blues jumping!I would stop let him jig a few blues and clean up the mess.Feel better now?No more that is it we going fluking!!! lol:) :)
