12-8-13 Offshore Giant Sea Bass Report
Sunday was another good offshore wreck trip. The current eased up today and fishing improved. Everyone had a good catch of giant sea bass and jumbo porgies. Most of the fish were caught on clams and a few on jigs. A number of passengers caught their limit of Giant Sea Bass and Jumbo Porgies. There were also some bluefish from 4 to 7LBS.
The pool winners were:
Adam Stevens from Upper Marlboro MD with an 8LB Sea Bass, and a limit of Sea Bass & Porgies.
Marty Taylor from Staten Island NY with a 6LB Sea Bass.
It looks good for upcoming trips.
We read plenty of fish on the wrecks again today. The water temperature is still 55 to 56 degrees which is warm for this time of year.
Fishing should continue to improve as the season progresses. Sea Bass are only open for the month of December so now is the time to go offshore.
The big Jamaica will be fishing the Offshore wrecks, every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in December sailing 11PM the night before. We also have a few extra trips between Christmas and New Years Day.
12 -7 Offshore Report

We had a strong current again today so fishing was a little slower in the morning than it has been but one stop held a good amount of Giant Sea Bass where everyone was able to put together a good catch.
The pool winners were:
Mark Bogdanoff from Roesland NJ with a 12LB cod
Assen Bogdanoff from Roseland NJ with a 10LB cod.
