It was a tough day for Bill's charter on Sunday. we headed out to the way north grounds for some Bass. we got there and jigged a few shorts and then it died out. some bird life but not the life we had seen in prior trips. We made our way south looking for signs of life but it never really happened . ended the day in an area close to the line trying to put a bend in the rods. Found a few but nothing great... However 2 of the group had the first striped bass that they had ever caught today. we will get them next time , sorry for the boat ride guys ... hate when that happens

I was out on a tog boat, and kept an eye out looking for stripers, and/or boats fishing them.. I saw no birds dipping or diving anywhere inshore, and thought that it might be a tough day to be striper fishing... The ocean just looked "dead" on sunday.
I hope you guys get a few more good shots at them......bob

Thanks Bob, i think im going to start to focus Tog, As most of my charters in November had the bass bug , it will be bottoms up for December. There are some DD togs with my name on them ...

We had a tough one on Sat. Tons of marks down south but the bite never turned on. Looks like the bulk of the fish are way outside the EEZ. I mean like a couple of miles past it. Pulling the boat next Monday so I'm thinking of switching over to bottom fishing for my last weekend.

my other capt. is crushing them down near Cape May and in cape may bay... looks like our season for bass may be done... time for me to spend my winter blackfishing and then ling and cod
