MRIP's preliminary figures show NJ over fished is fluke quota by about 50% and that does not even include the fish we caught in September. That means we may have much stricter regulations next year. There must be a lot more spearfishermen than I know... Fluking basically sucked as much as most other fisheries this year at this point, guess the commercial guys killed em well...!

Yea, my fluke season was terrible. The days I fished were lackluster at best. I just don't get where these commitees get their numbers from and how they interpret them. For real just go fish a few days and they would see. Complete B.S.:mad:
