My daughter and I had the opportunity and took it
Out of the gate and headed NORTH.....NORTH...NORTH to Birds as far as the eye could see and shorts, some really short. Lots of shorts in the mix and then time to find action and a shift toward the south. Daughter hooks up with a medium model Bluefish at one point that was a "swinger". We stop on lots of bird-life and there are hookups. While reeling in I get thumped and miss em. Then I hooked up on something good. Please don't be a bluefish...please don't be a bluefish....NOT...this was the pool winning STRIPER. Also managed another couple of shorts and 1 bluefish.
We caught a few, lost a few, but had a great day. As always the crew was first rate and were rewarded with the pool winnings and some...thanks Guys.
