Had Scott, Steve, Coop, Bill, Mark, and Glen on board today for a bass trip.
Got out early, found the fish, threw jigs at them as they were swirling and blasting sandeels and rainfish up top - only got 1 short.
Ran to where we caught some yesterday, heard the bite was on, put the rigs in, and it was game on. Singles, doubles, triples, all bass for the next 3 hours. Great bite with mixed size fish from shorts up to our biggest which was 15#.
We were boxed up with a limit by 10, and continued to pick until the fog rolled in. The bite shut off by 11 and we slow trolled home through the pea soup fog.
Wound up keeping a full boat limit of 16, had a load of shorts, plus a few right at 28", and quite a few 27.5"ers to keep it interesting. All but one fish today came on the troll.
Great day with a great crew! Back in time to watch football on a Sunday - can't beat it!
