Yes, it's Saturdays fishing report, close your eyes and imagine what it is, especially after the reports and video from the past week. Have the answer yet?
Today was the shit's to say the least........
Loads of bait every-where we went, read plenty of fish on the bottom, some of which were Sharks, Blues and Bass but after seeing how full the bellies of the bass were yesterday, you had to know today would be tough!!
The trollers caught them as I witnessed in several area's, so for us, it was rough.
Had some new customers on-board from all parts of the State and then some including, Cape May and Delaware, which killed me cause I know they traveled a distance to get here.....Sorry Guys but no Rabbits out of the hat today!
Good thing I gave up the Scotch or tonight would have been a 4 banger!!!:D
Back at it tomorrow! Capt. Ron

I got your meaning wrong. I thought a 100 boats followed you out and after 1 good drift they put the fish down. Must be confusing my saturdays.

I'm sure you burned a bit of fuel searching for the bite. As you always say on days like this "it may be too nice out there today". That and the boat traffic had to contribute to the slower bite.

I was out there with Capt Ron today and he did everything he possibly could other then jumping overboard and trying to hand grab some of those fish on the bottom for us....we threw every color and jig possible but just couldn't tempt them. We burned a lot of fuel but it wasn't to be today.....tomorrow is another day:)

one, jersey capts, dont burn fuel. 2 if the fish aren't taking jigs, try bait & if that doesn't work go EAST all the stripe ones you want.. JMOP.

Over the last couple days, we stopped trolling over great readings and tried jigging but not even a bump.
Umbrellas did the trick.

You should buy my boat....seems you have all the right answers Tony.....We did go East and found NOTHING, if you put a bait down the sharks will eat you alive, as far as us not burning fuel, your Right, Deb's, Long Branch, Sea Bright, Asbury Park are very inexpensive runs....LOL
