Visited Panama last may & had a blast. Rob from NJfishing.com family gave me killer info. I'm eternally grateful! Cambutal, Panama is crazy fishing. Rob - YOU DA MAN!!

My question - what do I troll, how fast & how do I set it up?

I'm headed back down in January. The captains run small pangas with little to no equipment so I have to bring all. I know nothing about trolling spreads, speeds, etc. We trolled 1 feather, 1 yozuri & 1 cedar plug. We hooked up with YFT, mahi's, countless alligator needlefish & even a big sailfish.

Now imagine if I knew what I was doing?! So again what should I bring with me? I keep seeing a green machine, spreader bars, etc. etc. etc. Info overload!

I'm a newbie but a fast learner & have a limited budget! I'm headed down for the winter to Pedasi! Again your advice is much needed & appreciated!

A few more things:

Hit a few fish on poppers too. What are your favorites?
Any additional equipment choices?
