Fishermen/A.M. and P.M. update

I just got off the phone with the boss and he was in the best mood I heard him in a long time, he said there were limits scattered around the boat and he had a couple of fish on while I was talking to him. It looks like the fish that were to the east are coming are way-all nice purple swimmers, and lets hope they stay for a while. We will be sailing at 3;30 this afternoon, they downgraded the wind to 15-20 with gusts to 25, not so bad. For info 908-930-2335.

Purple as in non-resident? I'm not sure what you mean

Yea stripers that are in the " ocean " and are moving are a purplish color and usually have sea lice attached to them. Those bass are fresh from the ocean and if u notice the bass we catch in July and August have dark black defined stripes a.k.a. Resident bass , Instead of pale purple colors like we are seeing now. Gosh I was I was fishing right now instead of posting.

Thanks Matt, funny I never heard that before. I'm still chompin at the bit too, despite a good day yesterday with fish to 38" nnw @15 & small craft adv kept us home today
