Brian Yukna, coach and organizer for The Marlton, NJ MRC Sports Unity Program, has chartered the Gambler for an evening trip aboard the Gambler on November 9th, 3:30 to 9:30 for striped bass. This organization gives children with developmental and physical needs a chance to play sports (and fish) for free. There will be a few special needs kids on this trip that are being sponsored to go on their first fishing trip with a parent! Some of the money that they are raising from the charter will go to the organization, too. They are a little light on the number of people going however. So if you'd like to help them by joining us on this fishing trip, please contact Brian at byukna@ccts.net

Thanks

Here is a note from Brian. If you can make this trip, send him an e-mail and help out for a great cause.

the trip is from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm....on the Gambler next Saturday.....everyone that goes get a receipt for tax purposes as the trip benefits a charity for special needs kids....I already paid for the boat rental, so anyone that goes will just settle up with me at the dock....$65 adults ....for kids it is $30...let me know if you have any other questions ...thanks, Brian ____________________________

I am hoping to get 5-10 more people to cover our costs and make it the fundraiser I hoped it would be....

such great people I have met in the last few days through this post....awesome people with big hearts, that feel like I do...nothing better than taking a kid on their first fishing trip. When the kid going on the trip might have down's syndrome, be blind, autistic, or some other developmental disability, it becomes even nicer. Thanks to those that donated and to Capt. Bogan for helping me get this together. It is still an open trip, with profits being donated to a charity for special needs kids....come on out and thanks again to the great people that have showed so much generosity already.

Turned out to be a wonderful evening with a great group of kids, parents and patrons. The early part of the evening was beautiful. Handful of large blues d caught at first drops around 4:30 pm. The kids were amazed at the blues. As evening went on wind picked up and temp dropped. Didnt stop the hard charging kiddos.
Pic is of Capt.74 attempting to hook a dogfish a.k.a "SHARK!" for Theo to reel in from the deep.
Capt. Bob and crew were awesome. Extremely professional and patient.
