I don't hate the idea because the single main forum was getting kind of unwieldy to read, but we need better definintion as to where said line is and where general topic should go... Just my .02:)

Very good business decision... popular "southern nj" website was recently bought by vertical scope...many of the regulars are not happy with new format. Great opportunity to court some of their traffic....timing is impeccable and I am sure this is one of the reasons to give the split format a shot.

no harm in testing a new format.. but people who check the site want to see all the info and intel they can in one place... one glance in the south forum.. its crickets.. users won't keep checking back and back again. in my opinion
