Capt Jim had the boat out today with a small group of great customers and he averaged a STRIPER per person. He said there was an area of over a mile with STRIPERS breaking water and great fish readings under the boat but they did not bite like you saw them. Still everyone went home with a Bass up to 25lbs.
The fish were caught on Ava's, Croc's and Poppers.
See pic's below.
We will not be sailing tomorrow due to the predicted Gale force winds but the forecast for Saturday looks great and I believe these fish will start to bite more and more each day.
STRIPERTHON'S EVERY MONDAY & FRIDAY - WE LEAVE THE DOCK AT 6:00AM AND RETURN BETWEEN 3:00 & 4:00PM
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ
