Cod in the spring as blkbear has mentioned. Pollock in the winter the run should come through Jeffrey's Ledge in a few weeks and hopefully hold up through December. Bundle up! Best pollock fishing of my life in below freezing temps!

Not many boats go out after November 1 when cod closes. Eastman's in Seabrook runs their main party boat until about a week before Christmas. You can check about their smaller charters. Most in Hampton Beach are done by December 1, if not sooner.

Run a search for Salisbury, Plum Island and Gloucester, Ma, there are many up there. Salisbury & Plum Island are very close to Seabrook.

November/December is Pollack time as far as all out slaughters go, but Ive been on overnight trips in the summer that slam the pollack. Haddock is better in the spring, cod are also around then.

The Eastmans are going to try to run right through the winter this year.

I heard that rumor early in the summer, but Liz told me December 19 the last time I was there. I'm hoping to get up there in a couple of weeks, I'll check. A Viking or FF cod trip might be better in Jan or Feb. But it might be good to try haddock in March!

Thanks, I didn't see that. I like that they're open in March. In the past, some of their charters started in March. Now I'm looking forward to winter haddock.

I spoke with the Eastmans crew this month when I was up there and they will fish year round ( except christmas NY break) the weather is the only problem that time of year. Its nice and warm inside but COLD at the rail.
This past May the Pollack where every where on the ledge in schools 100' thick,. This year in Sept the pollack fishing was good but OCT there where very few pollack around even in spots that always had them. It seems that thing are off this year and the dog fish where real bad and showed up every where( thanks NOAA ).
