We are running Open Boat before the blow this weekend. Looks like the last nice day to get out and fish. We will be leaving the dock at 6:15am targeting Striped Bass. Couple hours of that, then off to the blackfish grounds. I'll be honest, the bass are here but not eating properly. BUT, you can't wait for the report of when they go nuts, MAKE the reports! Any day now. Blackfishing right now is as good as it gets. No, you won't go home with 12 filets, but if you want a practice session, nows the time. And for those of you who have done the catch and release, you know it's fun.
