tom and tim cunningham 4th time the charm 10/21/13 (http://www.jennyleesportfishing.com/blog/index.php?/archives/203-tom-and-tim-cunningham-4th-time-the-charm-102113.html)
well after 3 cancelled overnighters due to weather capt's jimmy gahm and sean carton took tom cunnigham of glenwood,md brother tim of hazlet and friend mike from upstate ny out to the edge. due to the 25knot forecast we had to wait till 2pm sunday to shove off, but the move paid off as the ride out was nice and the ocean had calmed down considerably by evening. the guys had action immediately, as sean had a bite before the anchor even came tight boating a longfin. through the night the guys boated 8 nice longfins to almost 60lbs, but the highlight was a very nice swordfish. the guys fought the sword for well over an hour and got off the ball to keep her behind the boat, after the long battle sean harpooned the beauty and she was in the pit. the morning was very disappointing as the "dawn bite" never materialized and even the head boats were crying. we did finish with some very nice mahi. the guys returned home with all the meat they wanted and are already booked for 2014. tom and tim have been with us all fourteen seasons and we always enjoy their company.
