Golden Eagle - Sunday - Crazy Striper Bite

Crazy STRIPER & Bluefish bite today.

Took a long ride to day to get in on some STRIPER action and boy was it worth it. Had over 130 keeper STRIPERS with many fish over 30lbs and the largest being almost 40lbs.

Many Many customers had their limits including bonus fish, with a highhook of 7 bass. We also caught plenty of Blues to go along with the STRIPERS.

Didn't get back to the dock until near 5:00pm but it was well worth the effort.

What a turn of events today! Looked like it was going to be a hack under a big wind and a healthy chop after such a great run of fishing since the blow until Cap't Rich pulled the trigger on the move of the year. How many PB's would take that kind of ride at 11am? Only a couple. Arrived to the sight of birds diving, bass rolling and the same giant blues who seem to be everywhere these days. Even the wind and seas calmed down. Total mayhem with the HUGE stripers. Thanks for burning the gas & triple OT! EPIC DAY!!
