Ran open today. Plan was to start out for bass and blues then blackfish. Read the MOTHELOAD top to bottom of bass and we had no takers. Then it was good action of amberjacks I mean bluefish. Smallest was over 15# and countless around 20#, with our biggest 25#!!! I think these things cMe from another planet. Played with these guys for a while then went to blackfish. First drop was deeeeep water and was no good. Went inshore to instant life, but a ton of shorts. The guys caught some fish and kept there 6 keepers around 4-5lbs. Good day on the water. Ended the day with 27 blues and 6 togeroos.

Open Boat Monday & Tuesday - BASS/BLUES/BLACKFISH.

That's one of the biggest bluefish I have ever seen. Great fish kris!!!

That blue is so wide and fat that he's almost shaped like a tuna.

never heard of a run of blues this size in my life! If the world record blue was ever going to be broken now is the chance. Got them them guys!

That one in the front right looks like a hybrid bluefish-piranha-Bluefin tuna-amberjack :D

These things are frightening!

Seeing bluefish like this is awesome. And I'll tell you what, the meat on these is not like the bunker blues. We didn't even bleed these fish and the meat was not as red, bloody or oily whatsoever. Alien Blues! I'll take it. That's some fun fishing!!! Get out while they are here. And DEFINITELY Bring the kids!

holy crap I think we need another catagory for blues that size, nice catch I'm sure darren had a great time taking them off the hook. lol, see ya soon

well i'm not getting fired! one of our directors was with Kris yesterday & said he had a great time. Also i picked up some bluefish from him last night & can agree with what kris said the meat on these things looks more like an 6-10lb fish then what a 20lb blue should look like! guess that chum free diet works wonders. thanks for putting piney vince on some meat
